Jen Shewring is an Australian contemporary artist creating colourful paintings inspired by nature from her Richmond studio.

Highlights include Jen's artworks chosen and displayed in 4 homes on the popular home renovating TV series 'THE BLOCK'. Her art has been featured in Grand Designs Australia and Marie Claire Magazines.

Currently Jen is abstracting flowers from nature and taking inspiration from the landscape at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula creating paintings that enhance the natural colours and textures. ‘I am passionate about protecting our environment and hope that my paintings are enjoyed and remind us of the importance of preserving all our natural beauty'.

Taking a semi-abstract impressionist approach, Jen chooses colour palettes carefully, aiming to either enhance the feelings of joy with bright natural hues or create a tranquil, meditative space with earth tones.
