Lana Daubermann is a landscape and still life painter living near Melbourne’s Merri Creek. She primarily works in oils and enjoys the immersive qualities of paint and it’s endless possibilities in mark-making. Painting en plein air and direct from life is an important part of her practice as she explores the process of painting and the unique way it can connect us to the world.

With a traditional background in tonalism, her attention over the years has shifted more towards intuition and colour. She teaches (and learns) regularly, and loves to share her passion for painting with others.
