Inspired by nature the Breathe Series emulates the luminosity, rhythm, colours and tides as they change in Hervey Bay. As one of those who made a "sea change" in lock down from Melbourne to Queensland, I found the ocean and especially the tidal nature of the water here a place I could "Breathe" in. The rhythmic nature of the water as it flows often feels like it is in sync with my own emotions, the luminosity created by the ever changing light creates the subtle shifts in colours, and the tidal shifts are reflected in the mark making...
